1. Terms of Sale

What you buy: a lifetime license to use Wayna for Windows, as described in the License Agreement below. It's a one-time payment with no subscription.
Price: shown on meetwayna.com in US dollars at the time you buy. Any taxes required by law are shown at checkout.
Payment: handled securely by our payment provider (Stripe). We never see or store your card details.
Delivery: right after payment you get your license key and download link on screen and by email.
Requirements: please check "What you need" on the website before buying (Windows 10 or 11, Google Chrome, about 15 GB of free space).
Refunds: if Wayna doesn't work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. Your license key stops working once refunded.
Waitlist: joining the waitlist is not a purchase and doesn't oblige you to buy. Launch offers are for a limited time.

2. End User License Agreement (EULA)

This is the same agreement included with the app (EULA.txt) and shown under Settings > About.

1. Ownership

Wayna is licensed to you, not sold. We own Wayna and all rights in it: its software code, design, look and feel, documentation, installer, the name "Wayna" and its logo. Copyright (c) 2026 Arsalan Altaf. All rights reserved. Everything not expressly given to you in this agreement is reserved by us.

2. Your License

Your purchase gives one person (the buyer) a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use Wayna, for personal or work use, on up to 3 computers that the buyer owns or uses. Your license key is confidential and for the buyer only.

3. What You May Not Do

Unless the law expressly allows it despite this limit, you may not:
• copy Wayna (except installing it as allowed in section 2), or sell, resell, rent, lend, share, give away, publish or distribute Wayna, its installer, its files or your license key;
• modify, translate, adapt or create other products based on Wayna;
• reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or try to extract Wayna's source code, or copy its design to build a competing product;
• remove, disable or get around the license check or any protection, or help anyone else do so;
• remove or change any copyright, trademark or other notices;
• offer Wayna, or access to it, as a service to others;
• use the name "Wayna" or its logo, except to truthfully say you use Wayna.

4. Your Content

Transcripts, subtitles, translations and other results you create with Wayna belong to you. We never receive your audio, video or transcripts. Use Wayna only with audio and video you own, or that you have the rights or permission to download, transcribe and translate. You are responsible for following copyright law and the terms of any site you take links from.

5. Open-Source Parts

Wayna includes open-source software, fonts and AI models listed in CREDITS.txt. Those parts remain under their own licenses, and nothing in this agreement limits your rights under those licenses. This agreement covers Wayna's own code, design and brand. The speaker-label model also asks you to accept its own terms on Hugging Face before you download it.

6. Privacy

Your audio, video and transcripts stay on your computer. Wayna goes online only to: check your license key (on activation and about once a month; it sends the key and an anonymous code for your computer, never your name or files), download its AI models, and fetch the links you choose to transcribe. 7. Accuracy

Transcription, speaker labels and translation are made by AI and can contain mistakes. Check anything important (legal, medical, financial or published work) before relying on it.

8. No Warranty

Wayna is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We don't promise it will be error-free, work on every computer, or work with every website or file.

9. Limit Of Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for lost data, profits or business, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Wayna.

10. Updates And Support

Updates, if offered, are covered by this agreement unless they come with new terms. Support is by email at [email protected].

11. Refunds

If Wayna doesn't work for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of purchase for a full refund. A refunded or charged-back purchase ends your license and the key stops working.

12. Ending The License

The license ends automatically if you break these terms. When it ends you must stop using Wayna and delete it from your computers. Sections 1, 3, 8, 9 and 13 continue after the license ends.

13. Law And Disputes

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of Dubai have jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you rights that cannot be waived.

14. Whole Agreement

This agreement, together with the Terms of Sale at https://meetwayna.com/terms, is the entire agreement about Wayna. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
